Exactly. and the further the crossover is from the zero line, the stronger the signal. Crossovers that occur near the zero line are usually false signals. there is a book on MACD out there

Note: the longer term 200 day MA chart moved to Bull Confirmed status this week, and the 150 day MA chart cleared the December swing high. So all three timescales are now back on Bull Confirmed status, but the short term is at the top of the range, so there could be a short term top in the near future.

Market breadth for miners

I've reworked my own market breadth calculations so that I've now run the calculations for miners excluding gold, silver and platinum miners in case the latter were skewing the results. Unfortunately I forgot the 'before' chart. As usual no promises on accuracy and the pool of stocks that were used was fairly arbitrary.
