Major US Stock Indexes Update - NYSE, Nasdaq, S&P 500

Here's the quick overview charts of the US Bullish Percent and Moving Average Breadth.

Note: All three are close to the tops of their developing Stage 1 ranges, with improving breadth in the longer term measures, and so there's a possibility of an early Stage 2A breakout attempt in the next week or so.

RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis

Market breadth

Ignore the fat red line, will fix later.

US:

UK:

Oil & Gas:

Precious metals

Looks like we have large pull backs. Breadth indicators calculated from a limited number of miners still seem strong. Volatility is such that I've been shaken out of a few positions. In percentage terms these changes are quite large.

The red line is a volume oscillator. Did not intend to plot it. Will remove!

RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis

Hi
I'm brand new, excited to read and learn more.
Two immediate questions:
- what type of charting software do you use?
- i want to scan for bases, ie, show me stage 1 bases. Any suggestions?

I use StockCharts.com, Trade Station and TC2000 (I like charting software)

Thank you in advance.
Bo
