Market Breadth: Nasdaq Composite Moving Average Breadth – Long Term
Below is the chart of the Nasdaq Composite since 1998 with the percentage of stocks above their 200 day MA, 150 day MA, and 50 day MA attached below. As I think showing it this way helps you to give context to the moves in the percentage of stocks and how they related to previous Stages in the market, and especially in the current context of comparing with prior Stage 4 declines. So is a great chart to study and learn from.
