The US Total Percentage of Stocks above their 50 Day, 150 Day & 200 Day Moving Averages (shown above) increased by +1.12% this week.
Therefore, the overall combined average is at 43.02% in the US market (NYSE and Nasdaq markets combined) above their short, medium and long term moving averages.
The overall combined average rebounded slightly this week, but started to rollover again into the end of the week in close proximity of the Weak range (below 40%). So the status remains on a Difficult Environment in a precarious position to start the final week of the year.
The Point and Figure (P&F) chart (shown above) was unchanged in the column of Os, and so the P&F strategy remains on Defense (as it is in a column of Os), and P&F Bear Confirmed status in the lower-middle of the field.
