Average Distribution: 52.38% (+6.26% 1wk)
- 55 Groups (27.64%) are in the Stage 4 zone (Weak)
- 81 Groups (40.70%) are in the Stage 1 or Stage 3 zone (Neutral)
- 63 Groups (31.66%) are in the Stage 2 zone (Strong)
The IBD Industry Groups Bell Curve increased by +6.26% this week to finish at 52.38% overall.
The amount of groups in Stage 4 (Weak) decreased by 26 (-13%), and the amount of groups in Stage 2 (Strong) increased by 17 (+8.5%), while the amount groups in Stage 1 or Stage 3 (Neutral) increased by 9 (+4.5%).
Therefore, the overall distribution of the bell curve continues to improve for a seventh week, and is now in the middle of the Neutral zone (40% to 60% range).
However, the ratio of the amount of groups increasing in the Strong (Stage 2) zone versus decreasing in the Weak (Stage 4) zone reversed this week. So there are now 1.15x as many groups in the Stage 2 zone than Stage 4 zone. So while overall distribution is in an extremely neutral position with the majority of groups in the middle range (Stage 1 or Stage 3), there is now a slight shift to the positive sides of the scales for the first time in a long while, with more groups in Stage 2 than Stage 4.
