Gold Stage 2 Breakout Attempt and US Stocks Watchlist - 17 February 2022
Physical Gold and the various etfs that track it (i.e. $GLD & $PHYS) are testing the Stage 2 breakout level today, and this has caused strong moves across the various gold miners too, which have featured heavily in the Stage Analysis Members watchlist over the last week, with around 1/3 of the weekend watchlist dedicated to it. This weekends watchlist is dominated by a few group themes with 1/3 of the stocks from the metals groups as spot gold is approaching its Stage 2 breakout level once more. Another 1/3 are from the leading energy groups, which have dominated since the beginning of the year.
