The market breadth indicators showed some negative action under the surface today, with some very strong moves like the S&P 500 Bullish Percent Index dropping -30.59% in a day, and similar moves in the NYSE Bullish Percent Index which changed both of them to Bear Confirmed status. US Breakout Stocks Watchlist - 19 May 2020

Gold miners dominate the watchlist again tonight, but an honourable mention goes to SPOT that I've highlighted multiple times over the last few weeks. Today it finally made the Stage 2A breakout attempt from it's one and half year base, which I highlighted on twitter early in the day https://twitter.com/stageanaly... but at the time it wasn't showing the volume increase that is required in the method. However, later in the day that volume did finally come in as the breakout picked up stream, and has now had just under one weeks normal average volume in two days. So if the final three days in the week continue at that pace and it holds the breakout with a strong weekly close. Then SPOT will have moved in Stage 2A.

For the watchlist from Tuesdays scans - AUY, EQX, GFI, GORO, HMY, KGC, NGD, NUI, SIMO, SPOT, VGZ
