An attempted break out on great volume today. There is another two days of trading this week, so the probability is high of getting a weekly close with the highest volume in over 12 months. The sector is very strong too.

Is this a stage 2A continuation or a stage 1 breakout...if it makes a weekly close above 59.25?

I've been watching this one for more than a year. So thanks for highlighting it, as I haven't looked at it for a few weeks.

It closed right on the Stage 2A breakout level of 59.25 today, so I'm going to try and get in this tomorrow if it gets above the breakout level.

I got in around 58.25 just before the close today. I was tempted this morning as even within the first 30 minutes of trading the volume was huge, and it had opened around 3-4% up and retraced to around 1.25% but I didn't buy in. I will add to the trade on a clear break of 59.25 this week.

My only doubt is the sector, it has risen quite steep. Wondering if a retracement to the 50 day MA may be on the cards. However, the strength of this share may override the sector retracement.

Entry is tricky, though, as first target is only 110p.
This stock has appeared in the scans a few times in the last year or so, but if it can hold above 110 -115, then to me it looks hopeful

This looks like its in a clearly defined trading range. I've zoomed out very long term, You can see how the support of the trading range was resistance all the way back in mid 2008. Just coincidence, or do key long term support/resistance pivot points still hold meaning?

Agreed, if this breaks 110 on a weekly close with nice volume...I'm interested. Volume was good this week on the approach to resistance.

We did get the new 52 week closing high on good volume for the week, but not great volume on the day (just below average). This with the back drop of the FTSE losing over 2% in two days, so its relative strength to the main (FTSE) market is very good.

I added to the trade just before the close.

L.LAD - Stage 1 - one for the watch list.

I've been watching this one in it's downtrend for over a year. Technically it's very disciplined. It looks like it has finally bottomed into a stage 1 trading range with the MA's lining up quite nicely. Relative strength is positive too, and the sector (Travel & Leisure) is still quite strong.

Someone has decided they like AGA.L. According to my screener the MA150d must have at least levelled off. I presume this may be a start of stage 1.
