US Industry Sectors Breadth

Below is the data table for the Percent of Stocks Above 150 Day Moving Average in each sector which I've ordered by relative strength, with the highest to the lowest percentage in each sector. Also attached is the visual diagram of the 9 sectors and the NYSE Percentage of Stocks above their 150 day Moving Averages line chart.

Most of the breadth charts I post are available on stockcharts site for free, although the way I set a few of them up can only be done with an extra account. But just copy the symbols at the top of each image to see the charts, and edit them to match if you want to see them in the same format.

The sector breadth and cumulative P&F breakouts - breakdowns are not free and have to be done manually by inputting data from daily scans into spreadsheets and then copying it into my chart software to create the charts that I post.

NYSE Bullish Percent Index $BPNYA - status change

Yesterday saw a breakout in the NYSE Bullish Percent Index $BPNYA for the first time in many months, and so moves it back to offense and Bull Confirmed status in the upper range.

S&P 500 Cumulative P&F Breakouts - Breakdowns

Attached is the exclusive S&P 500 Cumulative P&F Breakouts - Breakdowns charts.

There was 89 breakouts and 9 breakdowns this week, which is the largest weekly expansion of breakouts in the S&P 500 since July, with 17.8% of the stocks making a P&F double top buy signal.

Advance Decline Breadth Charts

Attached is the updated Advance Decline Breadth Charts, including the cumulative AD line, momentum index, cumulative AD volume line, 10 Day AD oscillator and the McClellan Oscillator and Summation Index.

Note: Stage 2 continuation breakout in cumulative advance decline line following a six month Stage 3 with a volatility contraction pattern.
