The stock market indexes (S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 and Russell 2000) flipped back lower today, with the potential Secondary Test (ST) that I mentioned in yesterdays post occurring extremely quickly, as the market makers inflicted maximum pain on the people that rushed to buy on the Fed news on Wednesday.

The Fed decision to raise rates by 0.5% sent the major indexes – such as the large cap S&P 500 index – sharply higher in the final hours of the trading day, and continued the three day move that began with the Spring Attempt on Monday, and is now showing as a potential Change of Character over what we've seen from the previous rally attempts over the last month or so...

Tuesday was a heavy day for earning results with 118 before the open and a further 280 after the close (Data from Earnings Whispers)...

The Nasdaq 100 (I'm showing the QQQ etf above) today made yet another attempt to spring after trading down to a lower near term low. I've included multiple timeframe charts above, with the intraday 2 hour chart at the top, which is in a Stage 4 decline on that timeframe currently, and is yet to show a Change of Behaviour (CHoBH), that would potentially move it into Stage 1 on that timeframe. So to validate a spring event, I'd want to see an Automatic Rally event, that broke the Stage 4 downtrend supply line as a first sign of a CHoBH.
