Market breadth

S&P500 versus the Russell 3000 looks like it is in Stage 4:

Gold and silver v their miners are generally strong.  I do wonder if gold is a little overextended:

Bitcoin v a basket of cryptos is weak breadth wise.  It looks like bitcoin is in stage 1.

The only two strong US sectors are energy, unsurprisingly, but also utilities:

Thoughts on RIG? NOV? SLV?

RIG in Stage 3 testing the top of the range. Could double top if the breakout attempt can't follow through.

NOV moving out in early Stage 2. But short term extended at the +3x ATR level

Silver in Stage 1, testing the potential early Stage 2 breakout level

Hang Seng, Hong Kong exchange

Given the recent crash in China I thought it might be interesting to post a breadth chart for Hong Kong.  In short, the index was definitely in Stage 4 before the crash last week, 1.  New Highs minus New Lows had been negative for about 9 months, 3.  Weinstein Momentum 5, 1% A/D 6, and Gold Cross Indicies, 15 had been declining for some while.  However, in the shorter term there had been a higher low and almost a higher high, 1.  It was like it was going into Stage , but then crashed back into Stage 4.

I could try doing the Shanghi or Shenzen exchanges if anyone is interested, but I'd have to download the data sets and leave it calculating for a while.

S&P500 v Russell 3000

Signs of shorter term strengthening on various breadth indicators, but the index value, 1 definitely looks like it might be a bull trap, with it close to but below the 150 day SMA which is no longer rising.

Any thoughts on the Singapore stock market, still stage 1 or stage 2?

Looks like Stage 2 to me.  I almost plotted a breadth chart, but the data I have is not so good (a lot of the stocks have old data only) so it would have likely been misleading.
