Construction and property look doomed as there are so many short formations in that sector. Stan says go with the group action, and looking at the ones from the construction and property sector that have had the biggest run ups, BDEV (500% run-up) and TW (400% run-up) really stand out. Also, I reckon TCG has a high risk of bankruptcy. Expedia etc are wiping them out. Their annual losses are huge. Would love to short DMGT Daily Mail on the basis they are n*******t w*****s, but the 150 day moving average is still moving up. Just noticed on long term chart HWDN is up from 11p. Yikes. Shorting on Monday. UK FTSE 350 Sectors Relative Performance - isatrader - 2014-06-15 Attached is the Relative performance tables for the UK FTSE 350 Sectors. As you may recall I am being pessimistic about the market as a whole and the one thing I have going still is a struggling short on Barclays Bank (BARC.L) but the way that's looking now I think that that lay is going to pay off. What is interesting here is the number of house builders in the above set of charts and one interesting one which is associated with building; Howden's Joinery. I will be feeding these into ShareScope today and tomorrow and I may extend my laying a little more as I don't like anything much at the moment on the upside. Thanks again for all of this. - Malc RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - MalcolmSm1th - 2014-06-15 Shuna, your description there of The Daily Mail reminds me of my elderly maiden aunt's description of those editing The Morning Star. RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - shaunattwood - 2014-06-15 I'll short the star too if its below its declining 150 day MA who owns it? |
