RE: Watchlist - Traders method - isatrader - 2013-11-13 Some US stocks for the watchlist from tonight's volume scan - TCCO, FTEK, WILC, MMYT, CNTY, AWAY, RCON, ROC, EJ RE: Watchlist - Investor method - anupam384 - 2013-11-14 Hey fellows, Here is my watchlist GALE - Is in the process of breaking out on higher volume AKS - Has broken out but has pulled back a little bit in the second week. BTW Isatrader, thanks for pointing out MY. I got in at 2.25 during the recent pullback. Did you get into DRYS ? RE: Watchlist - Traders method - goodtyneguy - 2013-11-14 I've got these as buys for tomorrow or suitable candidates for buy stop orders: MY, SHOR, OINK, SORL, CECO, CNTY, IRE, SILC If you see anything flawed in my selections kindly let me know. Edit: Just noticed MY has a pre market earnings announcement on the 20th RE: Watchlist - Investor method - isatrader - 2013-11-14 (2013-11-14, 02:40 AM)anupam384 Wrote: Did you get into DRYS ? I did a bit too early unfortunately, around a month ago at 3.52, and so is still a bit down currently. But the pullback looks to be finishing now, so hopefully it can continue in it's Stage 2 advance. A more successful pullback entry I had is in ADEP, which I got in at 8.80 and is looking good after strong earnings and guidance last week. RE: Watchlist - Investor method - isatrader - 2013-11-14 I highlighted BFR and GGAL on the 23rd August http://stageanalysis.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=15&pid=1315#pid1315 as they were breaking out in Stage 1B / 2A, and both have had strong initial Stage 2A moves since then to their highs of around 77% for BFR and 67% for GGAL. Last month I highlighted them again as potential candidates for a pullback entry after their A+ initial Stage 2A runs, and over the last four weeks they've pulled back to their 10 week MA's on contracting volume and decreased volatility. And so I wanted to highlight then again as they look to be closer to a potential pullback entry point. Attached are the weekly charts. RE: Watchlist - Traders method - isatrader - 2013-11-14 GCA has potential to make a Stage 2 continuation move to 5 year highs if it can get above 9.21 RE: Watchlist - Investor method - anupam384 - 2013-11-15 (2013-11-14, 11:18 AM)isatrader Wrote:(2013-11-14, 02:40 AM)anupam384 Wrote: Did you get into DRYS ? ADEP sure looks great. (If I could find stocks like you do, honestly speaking I think I might become a millionaire) Instead of DRYS, I got in MY. Hopefully it will do well. Also, like you said, JBLU looks really good. I think it might go to $11 - $12 by the year end imo. What do you think about GALE. You dont have to spend a lot of time charting it, just tell me what you see. I like the way it broke out. But today the pullback was on higher volume. Also, what do you think about the pullback in IDRA. It broke out and went up almost 50% and pulled back. First it bounced off of 10 week MA and now its down to 30 week MA. One last question, How do you find the charts for industries in the sector. For instance under the Basic Materials sector, how do I find out how Steel industry is doing. Case in point, I want to see if AKS would be a good buy Thanks in advance. It looks promising on the weekly chart, as it's had over three times the average volume this week on the short term breakout, but it needs to close the week above $3 for some additional confirmation and to be a Stage 2 continuation imo. It looks to be consolidating it's initial Stage 2A breakout and volume has contracted mostly on the pullback, but I'd personally wait for a weekly close above the 10 week MA again before considering an entry, as that second pullback was very sharp, so I'd want to see the short term momentum turn up again. But, that's just what I would do and not advice. (2013-11-15, 03:12 AM)anupam384 Wrote: One last question, How do you find the charts for industries in the sector.
