$OKTA - isatrader - 2021-11-17

I'm continuing the progressive exposure in my position trades account with an initial position in OKTA yesterday. Only a partial position size as has earnings in a few weeks and still in the base.

Wednesday 17 November 2021 - isatrader - 2021-11-17

$ZIM from the watchlist with earnings before the open. Currently gapping +6% in the pre market on positive surprises on EPS and revenue. So above 53 which puts it above the +1x ATR level at the moment. Near term pivot at 55.50

   
$NEWR from the watchlist popping at the open. So potential for an opening range breakout attempt

   
Have closed $ASAN for a -5.84% loss as has the look of a UTAD and Test on the intraday.

   
$AAPL last highlighted on the weekend watchlist with a breakout attempt today in the weak market. So showing strong RS

   
$ZIM holding above the 50 day MA so far today after its pre market earnings surprise. Weak market, so it is showing good RS

   
$ONON with a really strong follow through today against the weak market

   
$DASH pulling back into prior resistance now potential support following the SOS rally from the earnings gap last week. Still in the turbulence zone from the IPO Advance Phase (IPO-AP) high in January.

$AFRM with $1.25 billion secondary offering news. So could be a negative catalyst, as is a big offering.

   
Have taken 1/2 profits in $RBLX for a 39.5% average gain on the partial. Holding the remaining 1/2 position.

   
Closed out the remaining two swing trades in $ZS (+24% average gain) and $PLTR (-19%). So back to cash in the swing account. But still 49% invested in the positions trades account (10 positions) and 76% invested in the pension account (8 positions).
Make that 9 positions in the position trades account as $TDOC moved sharply below the 28th October significant bar while I was out. So stopped me out for -16% on the initial partial position that I had in that.
$RBLX have raised my stop for the remaining 1/2 under the low the day

   
So a fair few changes today. Here's the open positions in the position trades acc. $SOFI is getting close to being cut, which would put it about flat on the two recent trades in that as initial trade was +16%. But overall progress being made.

   
As a few people have asked here's the current open position trades with entries / exits marked up.

$TTD $SOFI $SNOW $SHOP $ABNB $CPRI $DASH $OKTA $RBLX

                                   
$RBLX stopped on the remaining 1/2 position at 123.75 as it's gone green to red today with a parabolic move out above the +3x ATR level from an opening gap. So potential short term BC maybe. +33% average gain which was +6.64% for the account in 7 days.

   
$SPY $QQQ up on the day, but assuming that's the mega cap effect, as $NVDA especially and $AMZN also up strong. As seeing a lot of red elsewhere at the moment.

$PANW from the watchlist gapping up 5% pre-market following earnings after hours yesterday.

   
$MRAM continuing to pullback after the massive Stage 2 breakout last week.  I think it's pretty clear where the support if you look at the volume profile.

   
$SI from the watchlist continuing to consolidate near the highs in Stage 2.

   
Decided to cut my weakest holding $SOFI going into the weekend as its bounce today has failed to recapture the 21 day EMA.

So decided to take the loss at roughly -6% average over the two partial exits, and still up 10% overall over the two recent trades in it.

   
$FB continuing to develop above the 50 day MA and moving above the +1x ATR level today

   
Large Player Effective Volume holding up in the $QQQ

   

EXTR Stage 2 breakout attempt - isatrader - 2021-11-19

EXTR Stage 2 breakout attempt this week on 1.75x the average volume. So potential to meet the methods 2x requirement by the end of the week.

Recently highlighted in the Stage Analysis watchlist on the 7th & 14th Nov before the breakout in Phase D of the base.
