RE: US Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - isatrader - 2016-02-17 SMCI - in Stage 1 and had an initial failed Stage 2A breakout attempt two weeks ago, but has consolidated close to the breakout level, and so with the short term breadth getting more positive, this could be set for another attempt at an early Stage 2A breakout. RE: US Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - isatrader - 2016-02-19 VGZ (Vista Gold) is dual listed in both the US and Canadian markets and is a micro cap, and so it's very thinly traded. However, it made a Stage 2A breakout last week in both markets, on more than 2x the average volume and with relative performance breaking strongly above the zero line, which it's been below for many many years. It also cleared the weekly resistance zone (as illustrated by the ichimoku cloud on the chart), and so meets the four main criteria that the method looks for, and is in the current strongest sector of the market. So exteme caution should be stressed due to it's size, but looks like a promising Stage 2A breakout. Attached are the US listed charts And below is the Canadian listed stock VGZ.TO weekly chart also RE: US Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - isatrader - 2016-02-22 QIHU - A blast from the past as was originally highlighted in post#5 http://stageanalysis.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=14&pid=91#pid91 in early March 2013 when it was on the cusp of making it's first Stage 2 continuation attempt following it's Stage 2A breakout in December 2012. It went on to have an exceptional 250%+ additional Stage 2 run from when it made the breakout from the consolidation. And so it's nice to see it setting up once more for a new attempt at Stage 2 potentially. It's currently in Stage 1B after a year carving out a Stage 1 base range (70%+ in the Stage 1 base range) below where it made it's Stage 4 breakdown from. And so is a very significant level of resistance, as it was the previous support multiple times before the 2014 breakdown into Stage 4. it's had a strong move since it's September bottom, and volume has contracted during the consolidation of the last few months, showing little selling pressure. Relative performance is also strong above a rising zero line and so this looks like it could have potential for a Stage 2A breakout attempt. RE: US Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - isatrader - 2016-02-22 A few more for the US long watchlist from the weekend scans at different Stages - FANG, CAM, BGS, HMIN, ORBC RE: US Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - GlobalCitizen - 2016-02-22 Anybody watching WYNN? Seems like it's entering a stage 1. RE: US Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - isatrader - 2016-02-22 (2016-02-22, 04:10 PM)GlobalCitizen Wrote: Anybody watching WYNN? Seems like it's entering a stage 1. Yep, is entering early Stage 1A. But has a long way to go before it's a viable candidate for the method, as it's ling Stage 4 decline means that's there's a significant amount of resistance to work through. Could take all of 2016 to work out it's Stage 1 base looking at the chart attached, as people try to get out even that have held on to losses. RE: US Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - isatrader - 2016-02-23 EGRX - For the short watchlist, as it is in Stage 3B, so watch for a potential Stage 4A breakdown attempt below it's critical support that's been tested mulitple times now. If it can close below it, then it would move into Stage 4A. RE: US Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - isatrader - 2016-02-23 RWLK - Stage 1 base forming. An explosive move ended the Stage 4 decline in Dec 2015, and it is now carving out a broad Stage 1 base during the market decline. So one to keep an eye on for later in the year if it can work through resistance, and form a strong base. |
