RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis - pcabc - 2016-06-30 Asian dividend ETF breaking out. Monthly Charts - US Stock Indexes - NYSE, Nasdaq, S&P 500, Mid Caps and Small Caps - isatrader - 2016-06-30 Attached is the end of the month charts for the major US markets - all except Nasdaq ended slightly up on the month, after last weeks whipsaw from the Brexit vote. And the path of least resistance is... RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis - pcabc - 2016-07-03 Market breadth I note that the 150 day SMAs on the main indicies are wobbing around rising and falling. US: UK: Note the rise in the FTSE100 is not matched by the FTSE250 and AIM. Also probably overdue updating the list of FTSE350 constituents I use to calculate the breadth. Don't think being a little out of date makes much difference. Precious metals: (Mainly) US energy and utilities sectors: Crude and old and gas producers: Crude still has a falling MA so I'm not ready to get into oil and gas. US REIT is interesting. Note that the index and components are priced in USD so this is nothing to do with distortions due to the pound falling: Unfortunately I'd not been watching this develop, attention was drawn to this area due to a news article stating that investors were turning away from London to the US. Can't watch everything at ones. Now watching for a pullback or more breakouts. Gold bugs, longer term. Major US Stock Indexes Update - NYSE, Nasdaq, S&P 500 - isatrader - 2016-07-03 Here's the quick overview charts of the US Bullish Percent and Moving Average Breadth. RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis - pcabc - 2016-07-04 Looks lioke someone has lit a rocket under silver and some of its miners: Major US Stock Indexes Update - NYSE, Nasdaq, S&P 500, Mid Caps and Small Caps - isatrader - 2016-07-09 Here's the quick overview charts of the US Bullish Percent and Moving Average Breadth. Note: The S&P 500 made a Stage 2 breakout this week, and the NYSE and Nasdaq Composite charts are both just under their breakout levels, and the weight of evidence from the market breadth continues to strengthen with the weighting firmly on the bullish side of the scale currently, but not extended, after the recent flush caused by Brexit fears. So the potential for Stage 2 advance in the US is there imo, as the weight of evidence and price action are in place. But we will see how it develops over the next week or so. NYSE Advance Decline Charts - isatrader - 2016-07-09 Attached is the updated Advance Decline Breadth Charts, including the cumulative AD line, momentum index, cumulative AD volume line, 10 Day AD oscillator and the McClellan Oscillator and Summation Index. US New Highs New Lows Charts - isatrader - 2016-07-09 Attached is the US New Highs / New Lows charts. Note: the five day chart is the strongest it's been in the last year, and the cumulative chart continues to strengthen above a rising 50 day MA. |
