RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - isatrader - 2015-11-22 The Nasdaq 100 is showing the most relative strength out of the US Indexes as it's close to new highs. So as this is the UK thread, I've attached is the chart of the UK hedged ETF (EQQQ.L) that UK investors can trade without the associated currency risk of the unhedged version (QQQ). So with the Dow Transports attempting to move back into Stage 1A, after six months in Stage 4, and some signs of recovery in the market breadth. I'm starting to get interested in the market again, and may ease myself back in with an index trade next week if it looks right, after so many months in cash. But I'm remaining cautious still, as it's a very mixed market currently, and so still more suitable for traders at the moment imo. RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - Tryst - 2015-11-22 Thanks for the post Isatrader. Will be good to see you back to your active self. I'm walking wounded at the moment after being stung by Globo (GBO) in a big way. For those not clued up on the recent fiasco, have a google of it. Shambolic stuff. No body to blame but myself due to not abiding the risk management rules and killing the trade when the trade was invalidated. I will post about the trade soon in the diary section just so helps me reinforce the mistake I made and how I can avoid it in the future, but to also maybe help others. There is a quote from Ed Seykota that reads...“If you can’t take a small loss, sooner or later you will take the mother of all losses.†Boy is that true. Short sale. RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - shaunattwood - 2016-01-06 Short TCG rally failed at 150 day ma and rolling over with MACD sell signal (today) looks like it falls to neckline of huge top near 100p. RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - isatrader - 2016-01-06 PETS.L - Attempting to make a Stage 4A breakdown after an initial failed attempt in November. RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - pcabc - 2016-01-06 I've not had much experience of shorts myself, but these charts might be examples: WTB.L. This might be a bit late, a second continuation after the breakdown? E2V.L: |
