RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - isatrader - 2015-02-05 A few for the UK long watchlist tonight - BT.A.L, SDL.L, CWR.L, SST.L, NVA.L, SAFE.L RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - isatrader - 2015-02-05 Also, people might have noticed the social media icons that have appeared today. These are fine to use from the free boards, but don't use them on the Elite Board as the links in them will send non elite members to a no access page. So only use them in the main free board that everyone has access to please. I have a position in AVO from September. As it was a failed breakout I should have sold - so this is an excellent time to consider what I should have done. Chart below with buy point marked with an up arrow: With the benefit of 20/20 hindsight should I have spotted the parabolic move and chased it up with a very fast stop or should dropping through 4.4p in mid October been the time to drop it. Due to its behaviour I spent several months at a 15% loss, ignoring the opportunity cost and I am still just under 5% down. Lets hope it does something more sustained this time. I would add that I was likely heeding the rule or 'never sell above a rising MA30' - but I think that even that rule can be overridden in a failed breakout. Here are the best ones: Really like the look of this one. The change of trend looks to be in for this one. Chart reminds me of hour the gold chart is looking now. RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - isatrader - 2015-02-06 For the UK long watchlist tonight - FIF.L, DCC.L, PLND.L, PAG.L, HTY.L, BPI.L, TEF.L, MEC.L, BRY.L, CHA.L RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - pcabc - 2015-02-08 Tightening up, GFRD.L: RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion - isatrader - 2015-02-08 Good news for our UK members. Stockcharts.com has finally began to support UK stocks, which means that I will be able do intraday scans on the UK market and flag up UK stocks during the day for our elite members. This also adds the ability to use point and figure charts for UK stocks, and so I may also be able to do some additional UK market breadth data with the cumulative P&F breakouts - breakdowns in the UK market. It will only be major stocks from the UK market, and so all the AIM minnows won't be in there, but it looks like it has the FTSE 350 stocks and the FTSE Small Caps, as a scan produces a total of 645 symbols. So maybe in time they'll add the AIM 100 stocks as well. Here's the blog post from stockcharts: Quote:London Calling, Part Deux RE: UK Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium) - isatrader - 2015-02-08 Now that stockcharts.com has the ability to scan for a limited amount of UK stocks. Here's an additional stock for the watchlist that I didn't pick up in my usual scan on Friday - BEZ.L |
