Financials was the laggard sector over the late Summer, but started to come back to life in October and is now showing numerous Stage 2 continuation moves, and stocks close to continuation moves. Could Financials be the new leading sector into the end of year?
Since then it had a 50+% move on heavy volume to a high of 3.52 and has pulled back to retest the breakout level on lighter volume than the breakout volume. However, it was still significantly higher volume than during the Stage 1 range.
Yesterday it made a higher daily close following a retest of the breakout level last Friday and so is at the potential secondary investor entry point imo. The percentage moves in MY are huge, with a 20 day average true range of 9.3%, so if anyone does attempt to trade it, then they should be aware of this with their risk management and position sizing imo. Attached is the charts.
