US Stocks Breakouts & Breakdowns - SP500, NYSE, & Nasdaq Stock Charts - Page 56

RE: Watchlist - Traders method

FAE is a Spanish stock that looks to be showing the Volatility Contraction Pattern that Mark Minervini talks about in his book to look for with Stage 2 continuation moves.

Volume contracted before the breakout and has surged over the last few weeks following the breakout and relative performance is strong.

Focus On: Italian Stocks

As I noted at the weekend that the Spanish and Italian markets were breaking out into Stage 2, I thought I'd do some scans through the two markets and see what I found.

Attached below is the most interesting Italian shares that I found. Some have had parabolic moves in the last few weeks, like the three football clubs, but there are others that are just breaking out into Stage 2A and a few making continuation moves from Stage 2 consolidations.

I'll split it into two posts as there's numerous charts.

RE: Watchlist - Investor method

A few US stocks for the watchlist - AMCN, SHLO and HPJ

Note: HPJ volume was almost as high as the strongest week after only one day, so extrapolating that out, it should easily be the strongest week for the volume as the week goes on.

RE: Watchlist - Investor method

I highlighted CNTF a few weeks ago http://stageanalysis.net/forum/showthrea...21#pid1821 as a "Single Digit Midget" in Stage 1B showing some increasing volume and that a strong close above the December 2012 swing high of 1.54 would be a Stage 2A breakout imo.

Today it closed at the high of the day at 1.62, above the December swing high on nearly 11 times the average daily volume. So it's made a daily Stage 2A breakout. Attached are the charts.

RE: Watchlist - Investor method

Isatrader, after you posted the other day that shipping industry is doing well, I have come across the same at least in 2 different places. I have DRYS on my watchlist and am waiting for it to pull back further.

I also found another stock IDI. Seems like it has formed a good base over a couple of years and is ready to breakout on really high volume. What are your thoughts about IDI. Thanks.
