Friday 22 October 2021

$AMAT from the watchlist moving through a near term pivot and 50 day MA on +1118% above average volume for the time of day. Could it be moving into Phase D.

Silver stocks with the some of the best RS today

With silver attempting to follow through from the recent spring, which could potentially move it back to Stage 1

$BROS from the watchlist showing strong RS so far today

$M from the watchlist holding volume support from the significant bar from Monday, with an inside day on low volume (46% below average volume for the time of day)

$OLN has come up 4 times in watchlist over the last few months and is attempting to breakout to new highs today on strong relative volume.

$MNDY appeared 3x in the watchlist over the last month and approaching the +1x ATR level.

I have a position since 28 Sept from 336.65

$SNAP Distribution on earnings results

The earnings gap down on Friday on heavy volume is a significant change of behaviour for $SNAP, and shows the failed Stage 2 continuation breakouts to be an Upthrust After Distribution (UTAD) pattern. So the bias of the structure shifts to distribution and hence Stage 3.

RE: US Stocks Watchlist

$CALX from the watchlist reacting well so far to earnings yesterday with a strong reversal day at the 50 day MA today

$NVDA with the RS today with a breakout gap on strong volume

$TWKS making progress since I first highlighted it with a breakout above the near term pivot today. Volume light so far. https://www.stageanalysis.net/forum/Thre...5#pid18515

$BE from yesterdays watchlist following through today after yesterday significant bar. Showing good RS versus the market weakness and testing prior resistance

$UPST with the first pullback nearing the 50 day MA since the August breakout

Anchored VWAP from the August breakout is at 270.23

Earnings 11/9/2021 (AMC)

Have taken a 1/3 starter position in UPST in the position trading account with it around 20% off of the recent high. Giving it plenty of room initially.

$STEM from the watchlist with a strong move today with volume within the near term base (4 hour chart shown). Potentially moving into Phase D of the structure and hence looking for a sign of strength rally out of the range

$AMD has earnings tonight, so I've closed my position for an 11% gain, as it's moved 27% from the most recent swing low in a straight line and upthrusting at the top of the range. So decided not to hold through earnings.
