CVO continues to consolidate in Stage 2 and getting some large player attention with five pocket pivots in the last few months. Watching for a potential continuation breakout attempt.

           


SCTY - still consolidating with only light volume during the downs days last week. Watching for a continuation breakout attempt from the cup and handle pattern forming.

FRGI - Continuation breakout attempt from cup and handle pattern. Pocket pivot on the daily.

       


JMBA - attempting a Stage 2A breakout on strong relative volume, although some near term resistance and only a small base.

       


RIC - Stage 1. Made a higher low in June and volume contracted, and is now expanding again this week as it moves towards the top of the range. Watch for a breakout attempt into early Stage 2A.

This one has had a severe Stage 4 decline in 2012-13 and so the monthly chart is still only in Stage 4B- and a fair distance from it's 30 month MA still, and so could still have some headwinds ahead if it breaks out, as there still could be a fair amount of the people that want to get out even left in.

ZAGG - broke out into Stage 2A back in June, but was a breakout into resistance, as shown by the ichimoku cloud on the weekly chart. It's now having it's first pullback and so watch for a continuation breakout attempt above the resistance.

EXK - made a Stage 2 breakout four weeks ago, but has failed to go anywhere since and has been consolidating in a tight range around the breakout level. Pocket pivot today, so watch for a continuation.

ZEN - Stage 2 continuation breakout attempt today and I believe this is what Mark Minervini calls a "primary base breakout" in his book with a volatility contraction pattern (VCP) of 10W 30/7 3T, which means it was a 10 week consolidation with the largest swing of 30% and the smallest swing of 7%, with 3 swings before the breakout today. And I've asked Mark a question on stocktwits to confirm that's correct.

A few gold miners that have been on the watchlist for a while are SBGL and PPP, and with Gold still grinding out a Stage 1 base and coming into it's seasonally strong time of year due to the upcoming Indian Wedding season, it could be time to look at the precious metals miners again.

SBGL has been consolidating above it's IPO high for the last three months or so, around it's 50 day MA and above a still strongly rising 30 week MA. And so it's pattern looks similar to the ideal trader method chart which you can see an example of in the opening post of the thread. So am looking for a Stage 2 continuation breakout attempt to new highs.

       
   


PPP has be flirting with it's highs, and put in a new all time high five weeks ago, and has consolidated in a tight flag since on contracting volume. It's made a large cup and handle type pattern over the last year and half and so looks like it could be ready for an attempt at a Stage 2 continuation move.
